The arrival of ASF Autolinee’s new Yutong electric buses marks an important step toward sustainable mobility in the city of Como. At the heart of this project is Assytech, a leading supplier of automation solutions for private and public fleet charging systems, which oversaw the entire charging infrastructure.
Assytech, which has always been committed to innovation in vehicle fuel systems, has successfully integrated its products related to eco-friendly transportation with applications designed to optimize electric charging. A key element of these projects is OtControl, the software developed by Coptron, Assytech’s long-standing partner. OtControl enables the integrated management of liquid and gaseous fuels, oils, additives, and AdBlue—and now includes electricity as well. Thanks to this platform, customers can rely on a single software solution for comprehensive control of consumption-related costs and for smart vehicle charging.

In the specific case of Como, Assytech won the bid and was responsible for:
- Design and sizing of the charging infrastructure
- Construction and systems engineering
- Supply and installation of medium-voltage switchgear
- Supply and installation of charging stations
The technical choice fell on a high-efficiency, high-power industrial model, selected following a careful assessment of ASF Autolinee’s needs. Two charging stations were built at the Tavernola and Lazzago locations, with 10 and 16 charging points, respectively. This approach ensures reliability, fast charging, and sustainability—key elements for the project’s success.
With this project, Assytech reaffirms its role as a strategic partner in the energy transition of public transportation, offering integrated solutions that combine technology, efficiency, and a long-term vision.
